Data Deletion Instructions

How to remove Growtle's access to your Instagram account or YouTube channel and delete the data we hold about you — at any time, without contacting anyone if you prefer.

1.Remove Growtle from Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to Settings and activity.
  2. Tap Website permissions → Apps and websites, or open Apps and websites in a browser.
  3. Under Active, select Growtle and tap Remove.

Instagram revokes our access immediately and sends us a deletion request. We delete your Instagram profile data, synced posts and stories, insights, automations and their message logs as soon as the request arrives. Instagram shows you a confirmation code you can check below.

2.Disconnect inside Growtle

  1. Sign in to your creator workspace.
  2. Open Tools for growth → Instagram.
  3. Choose Disconnect and confirm.

Your access token is revoked straight away and your automations stop. The remaining Instagram data is deleted automatically within 30 days; reconnecting the same account within that time restores your automations.

3.Disconnect YouTube

  1. In Growtle, open Verification → Verified audience, open the menu next to your channel and choose Disconnect.
  2. Or open your Google Account's third-party connections, select Growtle and remove access.

We revoke our access and delete your channel details, figures, audience summary and history — immediately when you disconnect in Growtle, and within 24 hours when you remove access in Google.

4.Delete your whole account

Email hello@growtle.com from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my data”. We confirm your request within 48 hours and delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.

People who are not Growtle users — for example, someone who commented on a creator's post — can use the same address to have their data deleted.

5.What is deleted and what we keep

6.Check a deletion request

Have a confirmation code?

Enter it on the deletion status page to see when your request was completed.

7.Questions

  • We answer data requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
  • If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.
